Thank you for coming to visit my website! I'm passionate about holistic wellness and healthcare, and in recent years made a career change from the hospitality industry to train as a massage therapist. Modern theraputic massage combines ancient traditions with modern medical understanding to provide both physical and mental benefits - or just relaxation and de-stressing. Do explore the range of treatments described in the Treatments and Prices section. Hope to see you soon!

Well, I have now qualified with a VTCT Skills Level 2 Certificate in Facial Massage and Skincare! As a massage therapist I’m constantly dealing with and touching skin, so learning specifically about facial skin, its needs and the way it changes as it ages, is vital and helps me select the best treatments or products for each individual client.
Facial massage can help with managing the way our skin changes as we age. The skin on our faces is exposed to the environment more than other areas of our bodies so effects like sun- damage, stuffy offices and wide temperature variations add to internal ageing factors like hormonal changes.
Specialist massage techniques that are particularly suitable for the face include Ice Globe and Gua Sha treatments, and my Natural Face Lift package draws from a range of disciplines to form an all-round facial treatment that clients find both relaxing and beneficial.
You may prefer a session that covers both facial massage and other body areas – do check through the treatment list, or contact me if you’d like something more tailored to your particular needs or preferences. I’d recommend facial massage as a great combination with back, shoulder and neck massage!
I’ve recently qualified in Indian Head Massage. I found this one of the most powerful treatments I have learned. For those who have never tried it please do try and book one. It is one of the less expensive treatments, lasting around 30 - 40 minutes, and can be done seated or on a table. It is good if you have emotion swirling around or been through a particularly stressful time as it works on the nervous and digestive system too.
Although the skin acts as a waterproof barrier it allows approximately 500 ml of water to be lost from the tissues through evaporation every day.
The skin is made up of 50-70% of water, so it’s not surprising that drinking plenty of water helps maintain the skin’s health and for body cells to perform their important functions.
So what is that, you ask yourselves. Well, it’s basically about tailoring a treatment to help with pain relief using a number of different techniques. It tends to be more of a treatment plan rather than a one off treatment. It can be effective after 2-3 treatments in reducing pain and increasing mobility. Clinical massage uses techniques like Trigger point therapy, acupressure points, fascial work, stretching and heat and cold if appropriate all being explained and discussed during consultation time.
Clinical massage is something in which my interest has steadily grown, and so now I’m studying for a formal qualification, I already have a foundation Certificate in this so I can treat lower back pain, neck and headaches already. It will become part of my portfolio of treatments alongside Full Body Massage, Pregnancy, Anti-ageing Facials and specialisations such as Indian Head Massage.
I will be needing case studies (6 treatments needed) or one to two treatment bookings if preferred to support my Level 6 qualification so please to get in touch if you have pain in the upper body, including shoulder girdle, neck or headaches, lower back issues and further down the line hip and pelvis or leg and foot pain. It will only cost £30 per treatment. And will need an hour and a half booking time. Please do get in touch if this appeals. The process requires a longer consultation time so the treatment can be tailored to your needs.
